POLICY IS PART OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
THE TYPE OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU
We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so–for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better.
Like most places on the Internet, simply by visiting our website you automatically tell us certain information. This includes basic information such as your IP address, when you visited, the website from where you came prior to visiting us, the website where you go when you leave our website, your computer’s operating system, and the type of web browser that you are using. Our website automatically records this basic information about you.
We may also collect any data that you provide us by posting it at our website or by e-mail, telephone, chat, messaging or on social media.
We may also get information, such as a mailing address, from third party services about individuals who are not yet our customers, which we may use, for example, for marketing and advertising purposes like postcards and other mailers advertising our services.
Some transactions between you and Carol Wain may involve payment by credit card, debit card, cheques, money orders, and/or third party online payment services. In such transactions, we will collect information related to the transaction as part of the course of doing business with you, including your billing address, telephone number, and other information related to the transaction.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Carol Wain asks for your account information which includes your name, business name, position, email address, physical address, phone number, Services requested, website domain and, depending on the Service provided, credit card and bank account information (stored directly with a third party processor). Carol Wain may ask for your name, company name, position, email address, physical address, and phone number. We may record your participation using audio, video and digital cameras. Participation in events, surveys, contests, or subscribing to marketing material is voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this personal data.
At your option, Carol Wain asks and may collect your name, email address, physical address, and phone number. In addition, we also collect information such as web server logs, internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, or other information as part of aggregated data.

As a general rule, we will not give your data to third parties without your permission. However, there are some important exceptions to this rule that are described in the following paragraphs.
We may, in our sole discretion, provide information about you to law enforcement or other government officials for purposes of fraud investigations, alleged intellectual property infringement, or any other suspected illegal activity or matters that may expose us to legal liability.
Although we do not disclose individually identifiable information, we may disclose aggregate data about our website’s visitors to advertisers or other third parties for marketing and promotional purposes.
IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a legal agreement we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the agreement we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with Services). In this case, we may have to cancel a Service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
You can always choose not to provide us with information. However, if you do withhold information, we may deny you access to some or all of our website’s services and features.
